My wife and I enjoyed a great lunch here… But there is something special about the homemade apple pie! LOVED IT
That is so wonderful to hear Rene, have you tried the triple berry pie? One of my personal favorites….keyword “one”. Lol
I decided to take my wife to breakfast on her Birthday on a Saturday morning. This was the first time we had eaten their and was really amazed at the best breakfasts ever. I had the SOS (Son of Biscuit) and my wife had a Waffle with Peaches. Needless to say, they where 2 great breakfast’s. In fact, we decided to come back for her Birthday Dinner. I had the most marvelous Prime Rib Dinner (18 oz) an only for $19.95, what a deal. Wife had the 8 oz NY Steak. This has got to be the best place to eat in Pinetop/Lakeside/Show Low. Once you have eaten their you won’t eat anywhere else in town.
Robert you are so very sweet, thanks a million!!!
We are all thrilled to hear that you and your wife had a wonderful time and we welcome you back as regulars here. I apologize for such a delay in responding to this, but I notice it was left at the beginning of our peak season, and as you can imagine…..I tend to be crazy busy with so many tasks that the website kind of gets overlooked for awhile. 🙁 Every review and comment really does matter to me, so I truly apologize if it seems as though it didn’t!
I don’t think a week goes by without our surgeons requesting lunch from Darbi’s. There are so many fantastic options! Thank you for so much for keeping them fed!
Thanks so much for taking the time to write this, we not only appreciate your business at the restaurant, but there is probably not one of us who hasn’t been blessed by all you do at the surgical center up here. So thanks to you and your staff!
Do you serve gluten free???
Yes we have gluten free bread Judy. However, we do not have a gluten free kitchen and always feel it is important to mention that.
My husband, Jim & I frequently visit Darbi’s. It is by far the best for the buck on the mountain. The meals, whether they’re breakfast, lunch or dinner are always delicious. Large portions with a beautiful presentation. Love the fact that I have enough to take home to enjoy again later. Darbi herself is a peach. She is always friendly; always has eye contact with her patrons. I knew she was active in the kitchen, but enjoyed seeing a glimpse of her in a white apron doing what she does best. She is a perfectionist and it shows in her restaurant. Unfortunately, the long waiting lines some days can be a deterrent, but it doesn’t stop us from returning to dine. Her waitstaff are professional and personable. Michaela, is also a sweetie and we look forward to seeing her whenever we visit.
What kind words Trish, I am truly at a loss for words, but I do thank you so very much! (and will let Michaela know you said hello) 🙂
